  • Robora profile information, including your name, telephone number, email address, and selected password.

Some of this information may be collected by external parties on our behalf. For example, we work with third-party partners to perform background checks and receive certain information, including information related to Know Your Customer (KYC) reviews and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Watchlists.


From Third Parties


  • Information to authenticate you when you choose to log in to our Services using your Google credentials. Google will authenticate your identity and share certain information with us, such as your name and email address. You can review and manage the permissible you have granted through your Google account settings.

  • Information about your transaction history from our partner bank, OMB Bank, to facilitate and administer transactions and manage your account efficiently.

  • Information about your financial accounts and transaction history from Plaid when you connect your Robora profile to other financial accounts using Plaid. When you do so, Robora will receive certain information from Plaid, such as your account balances and transaction history, to ensure our Services provide up-to-date and accurate information. Plaid acts as an intermediary between our Services and your financial institution. When you provide your financial account credentials to Plaid, you grant us and Plaid the right, power, and authority to act on your behalf to access and transmit financial information from the relevant financial institution. You agree to your information being transferred, stored, and processed by Plaid in accordance with Plaid's Privacy Policy. Please note we do not receive your financial account credentials or account numbers from Plaid.

  • Information about the marketing and advertisements you have seen or clicked on from online advertising companies.


Before authorizing a connection to your Robora profile, you should review the privacy policy of any third-party that will gain access to or share personal information as part of the profile connection.

How Do We Use Your Information?

We use information collected as described in this Privacy Policy to:


  • Interact with you, such as responding to your requests, providing support, and informing you about important changes to our policies.

  • Provide our Services including, facilitating the opening of your deposit account with our partner bank to earn interest returns and issuing tax statements.

  • Prevent potentially fraudulent, prohibited, or illegal activities, verify your identity, and engage in KYC, AML, and other risk management and compliance activities.

  • Manage and improve the Services and grow our business, including monitoring the performance of our Services, understanding our customer base, developing new products and services, and diagnosing or fixing technology problems.

  • Advertise and market our products and Services, such as presenting targeted ads and analyzing the effectiveness of advertising campaigns.

  • Comply with legal requirements and industry standards, detect, investigate, and prevent activities that may violate our policies or be fraudulent or illegal, and protect the rights of Robora, you, or others.


We may use and disclose information in an aggregated or de-identified manner data at our discretion, including for research, analysis, modeling, marketing, and improvement of our Services.

How Do We Disclose Your Information?

  • Partner bank: To provide you with our high-yield cash management services, it is necessary to share your information with our partner bank, OMB Bank. This partnership allows us to open a deposit account in your name at OMB Bank and provide you with interest returns and other financial benefits associated with the deposit account. Robora is acting as your agent and not as the agent of OMB Bank. The information we disclose to OMB Bank will be used and disclosed in accordance with OMB Bank’s privacy practices.   • Service providers: We may share your information with service providers that we believe need the information to perform a technology, business, or other professional function for us such as IT services, customer service, marketing, accounting, auditing, and tax services, and other professional services. For example, we use Treasury Prime, a provider of Banking-as-a-Service solutions (BaaS), to integrate banking services directly into our platform. Treasury Prime performs certain business functions for us, such as account management and fund transfers to and from your OMB Bank deposit account.

  • Advertising partners: We partner with third parties who assist us in serving advertising regarding the Services to others who may be interested in the Services. These third parties may use tracking technologies to collect or receive information from our online Services and elsewhere on the internet and use that information to provide measurement services and target ads. Third parties may allow other companies to access information about you so that they may market other products you may be interested in.

  • Analytics partners: We partner with analytics providers, who collect information via tracking technologies on our online Services to assist us with measuring visits and traffic on our online Services so we can measure and improve the performance of the online Services.

  • Social Media Platforms: If you interact with us on social media platforms, the platform may be able to collect information about you and your interaction with us. If you interact with social media objects on our Services (for example, by clicking on a Facebook “like” button), both the platform and your connections on the platform may be able to view that activity.   • Information to authenticate you when you choose to log in to our Services using your Google credentials. Google will authenticate your identity and share certain information with us, such as your name and email address. You can review and manage the permissible you have granted through your Google account settings.

  • Information about your transaction history from our partner bank, OMB Bank, to facilitate and administer transactions and manage your account efficiently.

  • Information about your financial accounts and transaction history from Plaid when you connect your Robora profile to other financial accounts using Plaid. When you do so, Robora will receive certain information from Plaid, such as your account balances and transaction history, to ensure our Services provide up-to-date and accurate information. Plaid acts as an intermediary between our Services and your financial institution. When you provide your financial account credentials to Plaid, you grant us and Plaid the right, power, and authority to act on your behalf to access and transmit financial information from the relevant financial institution. You agree to your information being transferred, stored, and processed by Plaid in accordance with Plaid's Privacy Policy. Please note we do not receive your financial account credentials or account numbers from Plaid.

  • Information about the marketing and advertisements you have seen or clicked on from online advertising companies.

  • Partner bank: To provide you with our high-yield cash management services, it is necessary to share your information with our partner bank, OMB Bank. This partnership allows us to open a deposit account in your name at OMB Bank and provide you with interest returns and other financial benefits associated with the deposit account. Robora is acting as your agent and not as the agent of OMB Bank. The information we disclose to OMB Bank will be used and disclosed in accordance with OMB Bank’s privacy practices.   • Service providers: We may share your information with service providers that we believe need the information to perform a technology, business, or other professional function for us such as IT services, customer service, marketing, accounting, auditing, and tax services, and other professional services. For example, we use Treasury Prime, a provider of Banking-as-a-Service solutions (BaaS), to integrate banking services directly into our platform. Treasury Prime performs certain business functions for us, such as account management and fund transfers to and from your OMB Bank deposit account.

  • Advertising partners: We partner with third parties who assist us in serving advertising regarding the Services to others who may be interested in the Services. These third parties may use tracking technologies to collect or receive information from our online Services and elsewhere on the internet and use that information to provide measurement services and target ads. Third parties may allow other companies to access information about you so that they may market other products you may be interested in.

  • Analytics partners: We partner with analytics providers, who collect information via tracking technologies on our online Services to assist us with measuring visits and traffic on our online Services so we can measure and improve the performance of the online Services.

Under this program, the Customer’s funds are placed into deposit accounts across a network of FDIC-insured banks for up to the current SMDIA of $250,000 per eligible depositor, per receiving bank, for each ownership capacity or category, including any other balances they may hold at that receiving bank directly or indirectly through other intermediaries, including broker-dealers. OMB Bank uses a third-party vendor and agent to help administer this deposit placement process.
